On Episode 172 of Randomness with Heath and Josh, the guys welcome back Cheyenne Thomas, who last joined them way back on Episode 21—more than three years ago! A lot has changed since then. Cheyenne has gone from being the Cinderella State Woman to winning the title of Miss Ultimate USA, and this time, she brought her mom, Melissa, along for the conversation.
Melissa shares the story behind putting Cheyenne into pageants in the first place and explains why she believes pageants can be such a positive and empowering experience for young women. Cheyenne talks about how the pageant world has helped prepare her for the real world by building confidence, discipline, communication skills, and life experience.
But Cheyenne is also entering a new chapter. With her sights set on veterinary school at Texas A&M, she’s beginning to think about what life might look like beyond the pageant world.
